One of my all time favorites.

I think it's about over protective parents really.

I loved this song since I saw it on Beavis and Butthead like 9 years ago.

--------------------
Also my friends dad was tellin us a story.

He used to go to concerts he is a big metal head, and he went to like an Ozzy concert or somethin and Danzig was opening up for him. And it was a smaller place, not a huge stadium. Some dude in the front yelled at Danzig to get off the stage and said Danzig sucks. And supposedly Danzig jumped off the stage walked up and beat the shit out of the guy and was arrested.

--------------------
This is the best warm up song for any sport. It makes you want to knock the living crap out of anyone!

--------------------
Great song. It seems like he's talking about people's influence on children and the way they are shielded from the real world and bad people, which is the role it seem's he's playing in this song.

--------------------
Awesome song, birth to all mosh pits.

--------------------
This is one of the best songs ever.

--------------------
its about all those rents who have to hide there children and shield them from the evils in the world, but no matter what those evils r there and eventually theyll see them

--------------------
Its about idiotic ppl who assume that children are gonna grow up to be Satanist jsut bcuz they listen to music that discusses the dark side. Im a huge Danzig fan, well a big fan of Samhain and Misfits too (Glenns the man), and i dont care for this song too much anymore bcuz it became the "Enter Sandman" for Danzig. I mean its a good song, even has a cool solo, but lyrically compared to Glenn's later works it doesnt really compare at all.

--------------------
this is a fucking great song!
I agree with what most people have said, like it's about overprotective parents and how they shield their children from the evil shit in the world. Great song

I saw that this song was rated 20 on VH1's most awesomely bad songs of 2k4. I was shocked when Danzig made the list and Danzig's a badass. He's a mofo shorter than my fiance and he could give Henry Rollins a run for his money in a pit fight. I was disturbed by the fact that a heavy metal man made a video that made him look like Jim Morrison. WTF is up with those arrogant, remark-happy pricks and prickettes?! I'm a huge Doors fan and I can't understand why the hell they would lambaste a decent song because a guy seems like he's trying to conjure the spirit of deceased frontman? You know it's a great tune when the host of the program (THE FUCKING HOST!!!) think this is a great tune and he voices out loud that this is a good song. Awesomely bad, my blue balls! This is now a kickass song and I am not a Danzig fan! This just might be my introduction into another genre of music and I am not jumping on the bandwagon. Danzig might kick my ass for only liking one of his songs but I've only heard one song. But, this rant is about how much "supposed experts" know anything about what is bad. You need more easily entertained people like me who can tell you what to listen to. I am not as cutting to artists over how they look in a fucking video. Glenn Danzig has the right to make the video he wants and he's probably out there right now partying it up with his fans where he's appreciated. The only people who will ever like Danzig are his fans and he could care less what other people think of them. If they get to him, he can use his power to kick some ass!

--------------------
That show on VH1 is shit. There was only tw people on that entire show who was qualified to discuss metal music, that guy from Anthrax. And even HE admitted this was a good song. Plus Zakk Wylde. The rest of them I doubt even LISTENED to metal. Most everyone were trying to pidgeon-hole metal into one category. "Oh, this song isn't metal because blah-dee-blah-dee-blah doesn't contain blah-dee-blah-dee-blah" I hated that show and everyone who had anything to do with it.

--------------------
Don't you see? This song is not about the groups of people mentioned in the song. It's about the storyteller. He is saying, in a melancholly and sarcastic way, who he is, and what he feels. It's an insight to the portrait he has painted of himself in his mind, unsure, insecure, larger than life, confident, ugly, and beautfiful. Interesting...

--------------------
Being a defensive end on the varsity football team..I listen to this song before every game.It really gets me pumped and a craving for knocking someone's head off.

--------------------
Why is Dansiz always so angry lol?

--------------------
because people spell his name wrong, fag.

--------------------
^ :)

--------------------
Why is there only one page for this song? It's been good for a long time.

--------------------
It sounds like the classic parents disapprove of daughter's boyfriend.

Boyfriend is evil, this is how he feels.

--------------------
Yeah, I couldn't believe what I was seeing when this song made that VH1 list of awesomely bad songs. And MamoruC was right about that show; Scott Ian (Anthrax) and Zakk Wylde were the only two who knew what they were talking about. The rest of them just thought it would be funny to make fun of metal. The audacity! This song is and always will be fuckin' awesome!!!

--------------------
ahh yesssss....makes me wanna burn stuff...thank you glen danzig..you're the fuckin man
