The Graffiti Research Lab (GRL) put on this cool project using the KPN Telecom building in Rotterdam Netherlands. Much props to GRL!!! On Feb 7th - 10th 2007, they showed GIF animations from various artists using large green screens placed inside of each of the building's windows. Each window is basically a pixel, so the animations going in are very small (22 x 41 pixels), yet the final display screen is over 200 feet tall. I of course submitted a randomly generated animation, and its safe to say that this animation is both the smallest and the largest generative art project in history! :)
