solution: the university of missouri-kansas city (umkc) has a basketball court flanked on all sides by dazzling, gigantic comic sans lettering! the font appears to be white with a beige outline and uses default kerning. never before have i seen a comic sans "blunder" as grand as this, so here are a few more shots i found... here here and here
